Written in 2017, Natural Order explores the changing seasons, both the ones that occur every year, and the natural growth and change that occurs over a life time. It also explores life, death and rebirth, and the inner and outer worlds and how the two are intrisically linked.
The title track 'Natural Order' opens the album and sets the tone for what's to come. The piece reflects on and ackowledges the need for natural spaces (countryside, woodlands etc) but also the ability to access more populated and metropolitan areas - this mirrors the souls need for both individual space and collective community.
'From This Slumber You Shall Wake' explores the beginning of an awakening to a greater awareness that lies dormant in everyone of us, the end of monotony, mediocrity and the beginning of something better.
'Knowhere' captures the excitement and the anticipation of knowing or feeling something, and the awe of having a strong sense of direction and purpose, even if you seemingly have no clear path...yet.
'Renewable Energy' is a pretty little ditty and celebratory piece to solar, wind and other forms of renweable energy, and also the fact that our own energies can be restored and renewed.
'Something So Beautiful' captures the essense of the beauty of nature, the changing seasons and the positive relationship we have with the earth. Take a moment to find something beautiful.
'Human Values' is about the core values of human beings, and more specifically the human spirit. The track highlights the tender, loving, optimistic and warm ways, but also the cold, destructive and often pessimistic tendancies which lead us astray from our divinity. This piece invities you to address your own values and to know what you can do to not only better yourself but the world around you.
'Time' is a reflective and introspective look. It's very much about personal healing and growth, and allowing yourself and others the time needed to do so - and through this we work with it rather than against it and, and can see the benefits that can have.
'Swings & Roundabouts' is all about ebb and flow, the natural currents - the highs the lows, the ups and downs and learning to navigate the waves with a stout heart.
'Then & Now' looks at where we've come from to where we are now, with all the love and joy and kindness.
The final track of the album, 'Ouroboros' is an anthem, and a great great piece to round off with, highlighting and completing the cycle of the natural order of things.
Are you looking for something in the past or the future? - STOP! The thing you're looking for is right here with you right now - it always has been and it always will be.

Sounds like it should have been the first instalment of the Spatial series. Lovely EP. Voyager is the standout track for me.
Brilliant 160 business as ever from ASC 🔥 Ray Charles (DjOG)
Amazing album and this track absolutely typifies this. The sparing use of samples, the drum patterns and the progression…Quality release on a quality label. Masaq DJ (Dave King)
